Worlds and Words of Marble

While most children were enjoying their summer vacations on sandy beaches, my siblings and I found ourselves immersed in the breathtaking surroundings of Carrara, Italy, darting from one quarry to the other, and exploring the workshops of skilled sculptors.


The starkness of the quarries fascinated us, while the artistry displayed by both factories and artisans in transforming these colossal blocks into magnificent works of art left us awestruck.

To me, these blocks were like books, with each of us marble enthusiasts reading pages of this incredible story through the humble tiles lining our grandmother's kitchen floor, a stylish vanity in a hotel guest bathroom, or even a simple marble coaster holding a chilled drink. At Stone Studios, it is our aspiration to offer you these pages and provide you with the opportunity to pen your own story.
